This precious fruit is harvested from a tree known as the “Paradise Tree”, famous for its exceptional properties. The grapefruit is accompanied by other citrus notes such as Calabrian bergamot and Sorrento lemon: two noble essences from the exclusive Terenzi library. This citrusy character folds effortlessly and smoothly into an ensemble of grassy herbaceous notes, characterized by the untamed spirit of thyme and rosemary. A duet of delicate, apricot-leather like Japanese osmanthus and a spicy suede-like Sicilian yellow saffron forms a gentle counterweight. The heart is warm and exotically grassy, meadow-like, with an oily, smoky Tahitian vetiver root made rustic by a dry, aromatic Virginia tobacco leaf. The woody, resinous, leafy warmth and earthy sensuality of Indian red patchouli makes itself known here, bracketed by the sour smokiness of gaiac wood from the Antilles. A heady m??lange of woods and oriental notes grounds it all, and enables the citrus notes to sing on for an incredible length of time, far past the normally short lives of their volatile oils.
